What an amazing event! Heather is full of heart and presented along side her husband about her struggle with alcohol and the events to leading up to alcohol almost taking her life, in which her husband left for work on a cold December morning and decided to turn around the car to head back home to discover Heather wanting to take her own life. Heartbreaking, but so healing to hear their story.

I, of course, had to talk about boundaries, because when we do not guard parts of our life we tend to get to our boiling point, breaking point and maybe even our ‘crazy’ selves. This event provided the space for people to come as you are and let go of the image that most tend to carry “we have it all together”, “I can do it all”, “I’m great, fine, ok”….shed the layers to get to the reality of what is going on in your life. Felt great to be real and not feel like you have to be perfect.
Description: Saturday, August 27th will be a morning to gather together…to listen to genuine speakers, enjoy food and fellowship, and meet other women/men in our community. A morning without expectation or obligation. This will be a morning to refill your tank!!

We are creating a space where we have each other to walk through the messes of life with. A space without judgement. A space of support!

This is a morning for you or someone you know that is struggling (openly or silently) with life’s curveballs and roadblocks – (relationships, addiction, mental health, marital, professional/personal…etc.) to hear a message of hope! You are not alone!!

We pray you’ll hear a message of realness and vulnerability. Mixed in with a little humor and our passion behind Getting Naked and Shedding Your Layers.
